Chaos to peace

I was thinking about my oldest son today. He'll be 29 in November. The day he was born was pretty chaotic. His delivery room was full of stress and pain for 12 hours. A Dr came in and told me to leave so they could give his mother an epideral. I came back ten minutes later and the room was totally peaceful. I experienced that quick turnaround from chaos to peace when I was picked up at the shelter and taken to Bill's Place. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. PS When my second son was born his mother got up on the table and yelled, "Gimme an epideral!" The Dr took one look and said, "It's too late, he's halfway out."
